Single panels are 48mm - 50mm thick on the ends.

The close gap has a gap ranging from 1-8mm, they are basically closed as close as possible without touching using full planks of timber. The gap changes because each piece of timber isn’t exactly the same, there could be 1-5mm difference on each piece making the gaps change.
